OGWA 2016 Exhibition

Petrospec Engineering, along with our technology partner, W. L. Gore & Associates, will be exhibiting at the OGWA Expo 2016 to be held at the Oman International Convention Center 21-23 March in Muscat.   Please stop by Booth C725 where we will be showcasing new reservoir monitoring and heavy oil production optimization products, including:

High Density Sensor Cable

  • Our newest temperature monitoring product features an array of up to sixty thermocouple sensor points on a single low profile cable. The High Density Sensor Cable (HDSC) utilizes W.L. Gore's thin, high temperature polymeric insulation material and process to insulate Type-K thermocouple pairs. This provides a new downhole temperature sensor that combines mature thermocouple sensing technology with innovative material and packaging.  HDSC is capable of continuous operation up to 300°C (572F) in a cable design that allows for a high density of temperature points. This new product provides fast, high resolution monitoring in thermal wells.

New Fiber Monitoring Technology

  • We have released new fiber optic products, including Sensor-Line™ fluid-injected fiber optics for both DTS and DAS sensor installation, and high temperature polymer protective sensor fiber coatings rated to 300˚C for extended service life of both fluid-injected and permanent armored sensor cables. We now offer DAS data acquisition in our retrievable coiled tubing fiber optic survey service, targeting well and completion integrity.

Permanent Pressure Gauges

  • We have partnered with an industry leader in quartz pressure gauge technology to offer complete permanent downhole gauge and ESP monitoring systems. These high performance gauges offer high accuracy and reliability up to 340F to cover a broad range of convention oil and gas artificial lift and reservoir monitoring applications in the Gulf region.
