2016 World Heavy Oil Congress

Petrospec Engineering, along with our technology partner W. L. Gore & Associates, and Tatweer Petroleum will be presenting at the upcoming 2016 World Heavy Oil Congress in Calgary.  Paper WHOC16-245 “Field Results of Thermal EOR Well Monitoring in Bahrain Field using High-Density Thermocouple Technology” will be presented by Mark Padberg and Juergen Schreiner on Friday September 9 at 2:00pm in the R&D and New Technology track.  This paper discusses horizontal well monitoring using a high density of thermocouple points in the Rubble Reservoir, and highlights the development and performance of the new GORE® High Density Sensor Cables and its role in optimizing thermal EOR development in the Bahrain field.
