This year’s theme for National Indigenous Peoples Day is “Keeping the Circle Strong through the Sacred Relationship with Mother Earth.” On June 21, may we honour the rich heritage of our First Nations, Metis, and Inuit communities, and encourage a better understanding of the cultural fabric that shapes our Canadian identity.
